Teaching

I have been fortunate to have had many great teachers, including Joe Lovano, Dave Liebman, George Garzone, Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Ben Street, Adam Cruz, Terri Lyne Carrington, Kenny Werner, Francisco Mela, Billy Kilson, Shannon LeClaire, Mary Fettig, and Bob Athayde. I know how much of a difference the right teacher can make.

I love to teach, and have been doing so both privately and in a school setting, as a band director, for many years. I have worked with students of all ages and levels, and have a unique approach that combines my own philosophy with those of my mentors above.
